Dr. Paul E. Coggins, DDS, MPH

Dr. Coggins completed his undergraduate degree at Davidson College. He then studied at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill, and graduated with a Doctorate degree in general dentistry. He completed a general practice residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Coggins also earned a post-doctoral Master's degree in Public Health from UNC-CH, concentrating in health policy and administration.

Having been in practice for over 20 years, Dr. Coggins is a public lecturer and Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a part-time faculty member in the Dental Hygiene department at Wake Technical Community College.

His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Society for Dental Ethics, and the North Carolina Dental Society. In the past, Dr. Coggins has served as Chairman of the Board of the Wilkes County Board of Health.

Michelle

A Registered Dental Hygienist since 2000, Michelle is a graduate from NCSU where she studied Animal Science. You may see her in commercials and print advertisements around the Triangle. Since her days as a Wolfpack cheerleader, she continues to be an active alumna and mom.

Laura

Laura graduated dental hygiene school with a degree in science in 1997 from SUNY Farmingdale, NY. Originally from Long Island, she and her family relocated to the Raleigh area back in 2004. She joined our team in 2012.

During her time off, Laura enjoys interior design, photography, travel, trying out new restaurants in the area, baking, shopping, and spending time with friends. She and her husband have a son in college and a sweet dog named Chloe.

Andi

After five years in the dental field, Andi joined our practice in October 2014. She is the first person you’ll see when you come into the office. In her spare time she loves whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen, spending time with her family, and enjoying a good book.

Emma

Emma graduated from her dental assisting program in March of 2020, and has been in our office ever since. She loves being hands on and being able to constantly learn new things about the dental field. Emma was born in Raleigh and grew up in Wake Forest with 4 sisters and 1 brother. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and going shopping.

Ruth

Ruth became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2016 and loves the challenge and diversity of assisting. She grew up in the desert Southwest. She met her husband while serving as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the Navy. They have 2 great kids that they home schooled through high school. In her spare time, she enjoys playing in her garden and painting.

Wes

With his expertise in customer service, Wes is the newest member of our front desk team. He and his husband have been married for seven years and originally met in Charlotte 12 years ago. They have two children as well as two dogs Izzy and Pee Wee. Wes feels lucky to be a part of such a great team of people who love to laugh as much as he does!
